About the Opportunity
Our client is a licensed building contractor that specialises in both residential and commercial roof repairs and construction.
Our client is currently looking for a General Manager to join their team in Murarrie, Brisbane and lead the organisation into the next exciting chapter of its existence. This is a newly created role that has been designed to support the next phase of growth for the company.
Reporting to the company's Directors, the General Manager is the strategic and operational leader of the business, overseeing and directing all day-to-day activities of the organisation, whilst ensuring strategic planning that facilitates continued profit and growth.
This is a challenging and rewarding leadership opportunity that plays a pivotal role in the organisation, therefore our client is seeking the highest calibre individual, capable of inspiring a team and fostering growth.
The successful candidate will have relevant estimation experience and a management qualification. A builder's license is not essential for this position.
We are also seeking an individual with:
- Office management experience
- Experience using a CRM and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Experience within the building industry
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to learn and grow with the company
- Ability to contribute to growth in revenue
